Tony Phillips,
President & CEO

As an expert in the world of heat transfer, Tony’s experience and knowledge of the industry have been invaluable throughout the course of leading the CUST-O-FAB team in the daily pursuit of excellence. But when it’s all said and done, Tony is the first to tell anyone that “It’s all about our incredible employees.” He gives all credit to the men and women who make up the CUST-O-FAB team.

Ron Kuegler,

Ron has led fabrication and machining operations since 1989.  His knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset to our team and our customers. He believes that if you keep your people safe and provide high-quality, on-time products, then everything else eventually works out.

Jeff Claybrook,

Jeff has a diverse history in the on-site and turnaround services industry. His knowledge comes from over 35 years in the business. From firsthand experience in welding to managing large companies in the heat exchange industry, Jeff’s experience is a testament to CUST-O-FAB’s agility in the On-Site Services division of the company.

“It’s a real privilege to lead our on-site crew. This division has become an efficient machine—especially on high-pressure emergency turnarounds and capital projects. We know that our customers are depending on us to provide high-quality services on a tight schedule. We have 24/7 communication with our fabrication locations and a large pool of talented craftsmen that are always on-call, which really sets us apart from the competition. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a team that’s more at home with difficult turnarounds than the one we’ve got here at CUST-O-FAB. I couldn’t be more proud of our guys in the field.”

Paul Stokes,
General Manager of Manufacturing

Paul has been working in the fabrication business for over four decades. He oversees all fabrication projects that come through CUST-O-FAB. From heat exchangers and vessels to emergency fabrication, his leadership maximizes efficiency for every project.

"Our people in the fabrication shop are incredible. You should see the projects we roll out of here. We work on huge exchangers and vessels that require highly detailed logistical planning. Our whole team works like a well-oiled machine—from project managers to our installation crews. The moment we get a customer’s request, we start getting their specifications processed, approved, and into production. It doesn’t matter if a project schedule is 3 days or 3 weeks, our customers always get high-quality equipment. I’m incredibly proud to be leading this group of talented engineers, welders, and craftsmen, and I honestly believe that CUST-O-FAB has the best group of supervisors in the industry."

For over 25 years, Jason has maintained a proven and trusted reputation in the oil and gas industry. With his valuable experience and dedication to excellence, he serves CUST-O-FAB’s On-Site Services division with a high level of quality and character.

Alan LaValley,
General Manager of Geismar, LA

Alan has 34 years of On-Site Services experience in the petrochemical and turnaround business. He manages our Louisiana and Gulf Coast operations, while also acting as our chief specialist and manager of refractory services.

Gary Martin,
General Manager, CUST-O-FAB Power Division

With 30 years of experience in the Power Gen business, Gary is responsible for sales, estimating, and scheduling projects for our Power division. He oversees all CUST-O-FAB Power projects, from design and fabrication to field installation, making him a valuable part of our operations.

Darryl Stach,
General Manager of Gulf Coast Fabrication

Darryl began his career at CUST-O-FAB as a Fitter Trainee in our Sand Springs facility. He continued to develop his knowledge and skills, and eventually moved into the QC Manager position in Sand Springs. He then moved his family to Beaumont in 2016 and became the Quality Manager for our new Beaumont fabrication facility. Darryl brings with him a knowledge of what has made CUST-O-FAB successful, along with a deep understanding of our products and processes.

"Since I joined the CUST-O-FAB family in 2008, I knew I had finally found where I would spend the remainder of my career. After transitioning from our Sand Springs facility to Beaumont, we have developed a talented team that prides itself on being the front-runner in safety & quality on the Gulf Coast. I am privileged to work side-by-side with an extraordinary crew that strives for excellence in everything they do."

Bubba Fox,
General Manager of Midwest

Bubba oversees the execution of all field jobs related to our Sand Springs location and helps ensure that CUST-O-FAB employees serve our customers well while staying committed to our core values of safety, quality, schedule, and value, and customer requirements. He has been working turnarounds since 1987, has worked in refinery or chemical plants across the majority of the United States and in several countries.

We have the most engaged and talented craftsmen working hard every single day to provide our customers with the highest quality products and service. Doug Hoffman,
General Manager of Northwest

Doug is a third-generation refinery and industrial construction manager who grew up in the construction industry. From the ground up, he understands what it takes to make a project successful and what needs to be done to deliver a superior product to our customers. Doug’s leadership skills and industry experience in oil, gas, and chemicals make him an invaluable part of our team.

Claude Bly,
Operations Manager

With 30 years of experience in specialty welding, furnace work, and piping, Claude oversees the day-to-day operations the field. He’s self-motivated and is able to thinks critically the fast-paced environment of our industry, especially when it comes to major capital project planning and execution.
